People’s Day is a free one day event at Hove Town Hall featuring music,
dance, film, international food, speakers, workshops, supervised
children’s activities and stalls. There will be engaged all manner of
communities and cultures from across the City and are presenting an
eclectic program of entertainment with something for everyone.
Representatives from many communities within East Sussex - including Black
and Minority Ethnic communities, Faith communities, Youth
organisations, LGBT groups, disabled organisations and elderly groups
are coming together for an inclusive day of activities and revelry.
This event is aim to embrace the different communities and to build bridges
between them, increase understanding, tolerance and community cohesion.
